A campfire story for the kids

One day there was a family camping in the woods. They had planned to have a picnic with all of their favorite foods. But first, the Dad wanted to take his kids fishing and show them how their old man can work his magic with a fishing pole. So the Dad and Mom took out the supplies from their mini van and began assembling the poles and making sure everything was ready in the tackle boxes. When they took out the fishing poles and tackle boxes, however, they had taken out their cooler with their food and drinks in it because the poles and tackle boxes had been packed behind it. In the excitement of taking their children fishing for the first time the Mom and Dad absentmindedly left the cooler outside of their mini van. The children were too busy chasing exotic butterflies to notice the cooler.

So they went down to the nearby lake where there was a great abundance of fish. With the Mom and Dad’s help the children each caught a fish and the Dad caught an enormous rainbow trout as well as two small trout. Satisfied with their catch the family headed back to their mini van. The kids were running around playing tag with the Mom while the Dad carried the stuff. As they approached the van the Dad noticed a big brown furry thing shortly sticking out from the other side of the van. The Dad warned his family to stay back while he investigated what it was. He approached the big brown furry thing and noticed it was a small bear. “Hey, get out of our food!” the Dad said. “I’m sorry, it’s so beary delicious.” The bear replied.
